Still Life with Pen

A quick 45 minute session at a coffee shoppe using only a ballpoint pen.

I wasn't going for anything crazy. I found an image on Pinterest and just started doodling. Shading could be better in places, just as highlights, but I wanted to challenge myself to see what I could accomplish within a certain timeframe. Along with this, my design practice is rooted in using ink to sketch because that forces me to not repeatedly go back and hyper-fixate on certain areas.


Only drawback to using pen? Can't erase spelling errors. There is indeed two Ps in "shoppe".
