Two Beetles

I do a lot of thinking at the nearby park after my work day, and I got to thinking about beetles. I love beetles. There's a Pokemon, Heracross, that is a blue rhinoceros beetle and is in my top 10 favorites list. So while sitting there doing my thinking, it came across my mind and had this idea of doing a simple stamp design that was also functional.

One thing I love about design is the incredible amount of applications it can be used in. For this specific design, I wanted to emulate the beetle crawling across a surface, took it a step further, and created a small onomonopia stamp with "skritch" — the sound I believe a beetle makes as it crawls across the floor.
